MIAMI — Salsa star Marc Anthony took to the stage and entertained fans Thursday evening.

Anthony performed at the American Airline Arena in Miami. The show also featured Mexican balladeer Alejandro Fernandez. Anthony spoke with fans and reporters before his performance. He said stage fright is not an issue for him.“I don’t think about the pressure of. It’s all about having fun,” Anthony said.

Anthony said singing is in his blood from an early age.“I came from a musical family,” he said. “I was very fortunate. My dad was a singer … my dad put me in his show from the time I was 3 years old.”Anthony, who began acting in commercials when he was 12 years old, said he did not plan his singing career. But after singing he knew it was a good choice.“I never stopped. It’s something that I felt comfortable doing,” Anthony said.
